Established Building Restoration and Waterproofing contractor currently searching for a Project Site Manager to run a large project in the NYC Metro Area.
Requirements
This would be a 1099 position for 1 year which could lead to for a full time staff position. Must have had at least 10 years experience with masonry, roofing and waterproofing. Responsibility for subcontractor administration, scheduling, cost reporting, safety and quality control. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in project and cost management, field operations, administration and planning. Candidates must be aggressive and organized, and possess strong leadership, team building and strong interpersonal skills. Estimating skills in exterior building restoration and construction a definite plus.
Functional Responsibilities
• Upon contract execution initiate project kick off meeting with Owner, Architects, Engineers and Sub-Contractors. Develop project schedule, schedule of values. Coordinate submittals, shop drawings for approval.
• Full time site manager to be responsible for day to day operations of the site, which includes, managing the team of workers in the various areas of roofing, masonry, waterproofing, steel ,concrete etc.
• Track profitability of projects, review of cost accounting on a weekly basis on a project basis.
• Daily contact with project owners.
• Drive quality work within schedules
• Generate project financial and operational reports.
